The Stars in April is based on the true story of 12-year-old Titanic survivor, Ruth Becker. The daughter of American missionaries, Ruth grew up in India. But when her younger brother’s illness confounded the Indian doctors, Ruth was forced to leave her home and travel to America aboard the ill-fated RMS Titanic.

My newest novel, To Outwit Them All, will release in October, 2025. The story is set in British-occupied New York City during the American Revolution. Socialite Betty Floyd, daughter of William Floyd, a signer of the Declaration of Independence, becomes a Patriot spy in George Washington’s undercover group, the Culper Ring.
